Oh...Me...Oh...My!

THIS!!!!!!!!:
I feel bad for Brandon Knight. Kyrie Irving made him look silly during All-Star Weekend. Now, this.

Kobe vs Raptors: The Night He Scored 81

Since I mentioned that Kobe scored 81 points against the Raptors a while back, I decided I'll post the video for you guys to watch it. So if you have 21 minutes to spare, here you go:

Black Mamba vs. Toronto Raptors

I can't help but ask myself as I watched the ending of Lakers vs Raptors, what is it about the Raptors that makes Kobe just play out of this world. Remember that 81 point game? It was against the Raptors. Now, this past Friday night, Kobe single-handedly tied the game in the last minute of the 4th quarter to send it to overtime.  Kobe (5:40 mark in the video) hit a 3 that as he was taking it, I said "There's no way that's going in." Man, I was wrong. Then, he hit another ridiculous three. He hit an even more ridiculous three, DEEP from three point range to tie the game and send it into overtime. Overtime was fun to watch as well. Kobe drove into the paint and sealed the game with a gift-wrapped dunk. Not one Raptor wanted a piece of Kobe at the end. As all this happened, I couldn't believe what I was watching. I've been watching Kobe my whole life and still don't know how he does it. How he never ceases to amaze me. Shouldn't we all have been used to this by now? Shouldn't the Raptors know to put the whole damn team on Kobe by now? When will the Raptors learn? They're going to have nightmares about Kobe, as if they don't have enough of those already.

Full Recap from the game:

Basebrawl: Mexico vs Canada

Things got ugly real fast (maybe not real fast because it happened in the 9th inning but things escalated quickly) at The World Baseball Classic between Canada and Mexico. Just watch the video, it speaks for itself.

Buzzer Beaters

The kid who throws the ball up, needs to throw that ball higher or just hold on to it. This reminds me of this video below when Mo Pete ties the game and forces overtime.

They're both great buckets, but I reviewed the first one carefully and came to the conclusion that he did not release the ball in time. Around the 2:44 mark of the top video you see the clock on the screen reading .01 but if you look at the game clock on top of the backboard you see the clock is at 0.00 and the ball hasn't been released yet.  So it shouldn't have counted.  It's a tough call to make on the spot, the refs did the best they could.  Still a great video to watch, though.
